HEAR YE, HEAR YE-- I was told by our nurse this morning they are moving him to his own private room-- this is a first since FEBRUARY 24--they hope he will breathe all 24 hours on his trach collar, which is mostly on his OWN--we are moving along...just hope he is okay with all-- he can get a little scared now and then-- so think of him tonight!!

Wow, that is a NICE step forward! It should encourage him greatly to know they feel he is making enough progress for this to happen. I'm so glad you are enjoying good times together--must be hard that he can't talk but it's giving his body needed rest. Best wishes for continuing progress and return to health.
