FLOWERS AND ALL-what a goodly time of year--and loving Sharon's touches on the blog.Called to Tampa today and he was alert, bored (which is a good sign) and doing well overall--they began again to wean him from trach support, and put a collar on today which means he was breathing quite long on his own, and they will teach him how to speak with that as well until it comes off for good..he got tired, and was asleep when I called-but had been watching Tiger and the golf tournament-Tiger had a good day, and so did Tom--on par!
Getting into the swing of recovery now... Makes for brighter days!
