Tom got back to Orlando late yesterday (Orlando Regional Medical Center) -was put in a nice room to start rehab (Lucerne Pavillion), but hospital discovered his blood pressure was a little low, he had a slight fever, and his labs were "screwy", so they moved him to another regular hospital room to stabilize that before rehab-he is tired all this week, probably a little sad and depressed, which is understandable, but the first we have seen really-SO I am headed there this morning to see him, cheer him, and see the situation-it is on other side of town, but very nice and affiliated with the big Orlando Hospital there-will write later to update-meanwhile, roof materials are to arrive, hopefully today, and start tomorrow--a little crazy, but rolling any way-LATER-

Great to hear that Tom got moved to Orlando!!! That will be so much handier for you, and it's another step closer to HOME for him! Awesome! He sure has been through a LOT and know he will perk up again and work hard at his rehab so he can get home. Good to talk to you this AM, Marilyn. It's been a rough road for all of you! Hang in there and keep on keeping on and looking up! Lots of love, Kent & Sharon
ReplyDeleteHi:
ReplyDeleteIt's been kind of a roller coaster, huh? I know he was anxious for the move, he told us that, but maybe it was a little nervewracking, too. His poor body has been through so much--a little R & R before rehab will be a good thing. We faithfully follow the blog and will hope for good news soon. Love, Donna & John
