Tom is...
..plodding along and slowly making progress!
Monday, June 14th -- "BRIEFLY-- all is going very slowly, but I am in a big push to submit our final bid today for this big project, so I am off to meet my artist now, take Tom to dialysis, get to client, etc. --- will catch up later -- he is out walking 3 times a day --- very weak though, and not much else going on -- it is a slow road thus far.... SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE! At least Tom is continually moving forward now and not two steps back. I'm sure the dialysis zaps his pep 3X a week, but at least that is keeping on top of the fluid build-up and added complications. When you think where he was a few weeks ago, this is a BIG jump forward! Hang in there and keep cheer! Lots of love, Kent & Sharon P.S. Kent headed off to Haiti this AM to help out for a week. ReplyDeleteJust got home from visit with Jeff and Ashling and we were wondering how things went. We went to Elda Hopkins funeral on Tuesday and then on to Gurnee. We picked up Kiara and Jaren will come later tonight for a week with us. We'll have Kaden, too, starting Tuesday so busy times here. Glad things are moving along, even though slowly! It's certainly much better than being in the hospital. Hope things go well with your bid, Marilyn--perhaps you've heard by now. Best wishes!! Love,
